Competitive Commissions: Carter Koenig Photography offers commissions that are competitive and fair. We want to maximize our contribution back to the school. Commissions are always a direct result of better portraits.
Studio Associates: We recognize diversity. In addition to our team of owners, Carter Koenig employs Veterans, retired teachers and past students who completed their senior projects with the studio.
Email: When provided, an email message is generated for each household reminding them that picture day is "this week" along with order form links and photo day tips.
Website: Pre-pay order forms and other important documents are listed prominently on our website. Parents have a convenient place to find a replacement.
School Office: We count your picture forms, we distribute packets, we create your picture day schedule, we stuff school mailboxes with photo envelopes. We bring our own staff rather than asking the school to perform our job. In short, we do the job that a photographer should be doing.
The Studio: Carter Koenig Photography operates a true photography studio. A 3,000 square foot studio sits on property in Columbia County that has more than 100 years of tradition and heritage.
Telephone calls: We create customized scripts for each school and send home a "PostCall" to each household informing parents and reminding them of picture day.
Package Pricing: Parents are given the option to purchase packages and also have the ability to design their own to fit their needs.
Digital Images for Faculty/Staff: We provide free digital images to the school administration to share with faculty and staff members, all at no cost to the school. These high resolution images are perfect for printing, sharing, and personal use.
Understanding Schools: Ask your current photographer to describe how "specials scheduling" affects the photo day. Ask your current photographer about the significance of scheduling special needs classes early. Our photographers at Carter Koenig Photography know the answers. We are real professional photographers, rather than seasonal button-pushers.
Local customer support: Questions arise. A local contact is perfect for parents who may need to reorder, have questions about portraits or want to talk about how to dress their students. Schools like the local option since they simply refer parents to us and not act as an intermediary. We are so much more than a 1-800 number.
